HISTORY
Formed in 1986, Craig Williams Consulting is an association of consultants, programmers, communications service companies, and PC equipment manufacturers. Our target market is small to medium sized businesses and local government agencies. (Please checkout our client links page for an example of markets served.)
Our primary service is the configuration, sales, installation, use training, and repair of "WinTel" based PC local area networks at our clients locations. Additionally, we have setup an internet presence for a number of our clients with "home page" design and creation, selection of internet providers, and linking of clients local area networks with TCP/IP wide area networks. If you feel we can be of service to your company follow this link to our contacts page.
With extensive experience in all levels of PC and internet based hardware and software installation, integration and repair our standard client methods include:
Client topology design based on the requirements of each individual client.
Prepare a survey of applications required and hardware requirements for these applications. Suggest a balance between cost of equipment and gains in efficiency and productivity. Find a balance of equipment configurations that will be effective for a reasonable period of time considering the industry continues to demand larger and faster systems as software applications are revised and re-released. Insure minimum system down time with " just in case" backup disaster planning and hardware as part of the final configuration
Implementation Planning.
Map out acceptable schedules of equipment and software delivery to minimize disruption of the workplace. Setup parallel equipment operation and testing for major system and applications upgrades. Insure training systems are considered where major changes to standard operations are planned.
Client Education.
Insure the client is trained on the normal system procedures for backups, anti virus upgrades, and any special requirements of standard or special vertical applications on their systems.
Prompt problem resolution.
Be available, by cell phone / pager, during normal business hours or special periods as required, to provide clients with prompt problem resolution by telephone or on-site support.
